British Columbia Grown Hops

Hops have always taken respect to "terroir". Differences in biophysical environments like the make up of the soil, the amount of sunlight, temperature, and humidity, are all specific to the geographical position of a growing region. These dynamic combinations can arguably become the reasoning behind a hop's phenotype.

Without an argument, British Columbia is a world class hop producing region. It had been 50+ years ago, and still is today. The valleys throughout British Columbia provide immense fertility in the soil, desired drainage profiles, and abundant access to fresh flowing water.
