- It was developed at Hüll and launched in 2012, in response to the craft beer industry's call for innovative tastes and distinctive flavors. Huell Melon is one of the many varieties that has been bred and commercialized to meet this demand.
Brewing Applications
GR Huell Melon hops are an excellent choice for beer styles that don't require a strong hop flavor. This hop variety has a distinctive yet subdued fruit character that seamlessly blends with the yeast profile of Hefeweizens and Belgian ales. It also works well as a standalone hop, perfect as a feature of summer seasonal or Brett fermentation.
