GR Saphir Hops - T90 Pellets

  • Also known as Sapphire, they were released in 2002 by the Hop Research Center in Hüll, Germany. 
  • Originally bred as a more commercially viable alternative to Hallertau Mittelfruh. 
  • Aroma notes of berry and citrus, with a herbal and spicy finish. 

Brewing Applications

GR Saphir hops are great for Pale European Bitters, German Wheat, Belgian Ales, German Pils, Weissbeer, Saidons, and APAs. Notably low in cohumulone content (12-17%), this variety imparts a smooth bitterness.
