US Apollo™ Hops - T90 Pellets
- A relatively new variety, it was first released in 2000 by the Hop Breeding Company.
- It is a hybrid of Zeus and a USDA male hop plant and is grown primarily in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
- With an alpha acid content ranging from 15-19%, it's considered a high-alpha hop. This makes it an excellent choice for bittering.
- Its unique flavor and aroma characteristics also make it a versatile hop. They can be used in a variety of beer styles.
In addition to its grapefruit and resinous notes, Apollo™ can also impart woody, herbal, and spicy flavors and aromas to your brew. So, if you're looking to add some complexity and depth to your beer, give Apollo™ hop a try!
Brewing Applications
US Apollo™ Hops , with its elevated alpha acid content and robust, resinous flavor, is an excellent complement to IPAs and Pale Ales. As they say, "bitter is better."
