Canadian Grown Galena Hops - T90 Pellets
- The result of open pollination from the Brewer's Gold hop variety.
- Agricultural scientist Richard R. Romanko officially selected it in 1968.
- Galena is primarily used commercially for its unique role as the sole hop in pale lagers such as Corona Extra.
Brewing Applications:
Canadian Grown Galena hops offer a delightful woody & deep forest flavor, with clean and pleasant hints of citrus. To achieve a stronger aroma of ,citrus, some brewers have found that boiling smaller quantities of Galena hops and adding them later in the process is more effective.
