Canadian Grown Chinook Hops -  Whole Cone

Developed by the USDA breeding program in Washington State in 1985, Chinook hops were originally bred for their bittering qualities. They have since become versatile, serving as a dual-purpose hop suitable for a wide range of styles.

  • Chinook hops deliver noticeable tropical, spicy, and piney notes in both flavor and aroma.
  • They also contribute a bright grapefruit flavor that highlights their clean bitterness.

Brewing Applications

Use Canadian Grown Chinook hops at any stage of the boil. They excel in American-style Pale Ales and IPAs and work well in seasonal ales, barley wines, and some porters and stouts.
