Canadian Grown CTZ (Zeus) Hops (CTZ Zeus BC T90 Pellets)

CTZ hops, encompassing Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus, share similar characteristics despite their distinct names.

  • They offer dank and spicy notes, making them ideal for bittering in various beer styles, including IPAs, stouts, and lagers.
  • With an alpha acid content of 14-16%, CTZ delivers a powerful bite. While not commonly used in SMaSH beers, adding them later in the brewing process can highlight hints of orange and grapefruit in the aroma.

Brewing Applications

  • Canadian Grown CTZ (Zeus) hops excel in bittering but are also favored in American-style IPAs for their strong citrus and spice flavor.
